Overdue but finally came; thank
God I passed, and made the grade.
I’m running out of steam, it’s true;
three weeks behind and feeling blue.
I need to sit and read the book
that shows me how to make it through
the writer’s block and laziness and
get right down to business
Halfway there, three more to go;
I want to quit, but pride says no. I need see through to the end this episode
of money spent on books and pens.
Notebooks with lots of empty pages instead of useful witty phrases.
I’ll write that book one day, you’ll see, and you can say you once knew me.
