How Time Flies: To Friends Past and Present

It seems just like yesterday I was young

Dancing the night away, having fun

Downing Pernod with my childhood friends

Half pint of lager and a Pernod again

The music was funky from beginning to end

Those were the days, not a care in the world

Buying clothes and records, fun with the girls

Then we all got older gathered worries and woes

Time really flies, oh where does it go?

I often think fondly of those fine days

And the friends that I loved in my own sweet way

Time takes it toll on us all, it's true

But it can't take the memories of all of you.
