Will the real Nancy Stand Up?

Writer: Mary HutchisonMary Hutchison

Who is Nancy anyway? What does she look like?

I hear she has the greenest eyes and curly hair

A smile that melts the coldest heart and hands as gentle as a dove

And leaving her, one always feels loved

Saturdays were always fun, listening to the footie on Clyde one

Especially when it was the old firm playing, c'mon the Gers she'd be heard saying

And oh her stew, it was so tasty, take more darling, you're looking pasty

And then the home made lemonade would finish off a fantastic day

But now that she's gone, I miss her so much

Her face, her eyes, her gentle touch

She was the best a gran could be

It seems like only yesterday

I miss you gran
